Get your reviews into Echorank

Wherever your reviews live today — Trustpilot, Google, Facebook or another tool — this guide shows you how to get them out as a CSV file and into Echorank, where every review is analyzed for sentiment and risk automatically.

Before you start

What you need: one CSV file

A CSV is just a spreadsheet saved as plain text — Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers can all save one (File → Download / Save as → CSV). Your columns can be named anything; you'll match them up during the import.

Get the CSV out of each platform

Every platform is different — some hand you a CSV, some don't. Here's the honest picture for each, so you don't go hunting for a button that doesn't exist.

Trustpilot Has CSV export

  1. Sign in at business.trustpilot.com with an admin or manager account.
  2. Go to Manage reviews → Service reviews → Inbox.
  3. Click Export in the top-right corner and pick a date range (or a custom one).
  4. Click Download .csv — that file is ready for Echorank as-is.
Don't see Export? Some Trustpilot plans don't include it. Also note Trustpilot's guidelines don't allow republishing exported reviews on other public sites — importing them into your own Echorank dashboard for analysis is exactly what the export is for.

Google reviews No export button

Google Business Profile has no "download my reviews as CSV" option — the button simply doesn't exist. You have three real paths:

  1. The Echorank browser add-on (recommended). It reads your reviews straight off the page and pushes them into Echorank — no file at all. Set it up from the Extension page.
  2. Google Takeout (takeout.google.com) can export some Business Profile data, but it's inconsistent — often JSON instead of a clean CSV, and frequently missing the full review text. Treat it as a last resort.
  3. Build the spreadsheet yourself — for a modest number of reviews, copying them into the template below is often faster than fighting Takeout.

Facebook recommendations No export button

Same story as Google: there's no CSV export for Page recommendations. Use the Echorank browser add-on, or copy them into the spreadsheet template below.

Another review tool Usually has export

If you're switching from a review or reputation tool (Podium, Birdeye, ReviewTrackers, Yotpo and similar), look for Export or Download in its reviews or reports section and choose CSV. Whatever columns it produces are fine — you'll map them in step 3.

Build your own spreadsheet Always works

Any spreadsheet with one review per row works. Only two columns truly matter — the rest are nice to have:

Step 2 · Upload

Import it on the Data Sources page

Five small steps, start to finish. Each imported review goes through the same sentiment and risk analysis as your monitored reviews.

Open Data Sources

Sign in at echorank360.com and pick Data Sources in the left menu.

Choose your file

Click Choose file and pick your CSV — up to 5 MB. Leave "First row is a header" checked if your first row holds column names (exports from Trustpilot and other tools always do).

Map your columns

Echorank reads the file and shows the columns it found. Point review text and rating at the right columns — those two are required. Author, date and link are optional; anything unmapped is simply ignored.

Start the import

Confirm, and Echorank processes the file in the background. Duplicates of reviews you already have are detected and skipped automatically — importing the same file twice won't create copies.

Check Import history

The table below the uploader tracks every file: status moves from processing to completed, with counts for Imported, Duplicates and Failed rows. Your new reviews land on the Monitoring page with sentiment and risk already scored.

Good to know: a high Duplicates count is a good sign — it means Echorank recognized reviews it already had and protected you from double-counting. A Failed count usually means a few rows were missing review text or a rating; fix those rows in your spreadsheet and re-upload — everything else will dedupe. Files over 5 MB: split them into parts and upload each one.
